Monica Monroe is the new WWE ID Women’s Champion after defeating Laynie Luck at a Reality of Wrestling (ROW) event on October 3, 2026, according to reports from eWrestlingNews and Diva Dirt.

The title change brings an end to Luck’s lengthy reign as champion. Per Diva Dirt, Luck held the belt for 321 days and successfully defended it 23 times before losing to Monroe, who wrestles under the name “Lady Bird” Monica Monroe.

With the championship victory, Monroe becomes part of the WWE ID program, the developmental pipeline WWE has used to formally recognize and track independent talent. Both eWrestlingNews and Diva Dirt noted that Monroe recently participated in a WWE tryout, though neither outlet reported any further details on the outcome of that tryout or any subsequent WWE roster plans for her.

Reality of Wrestling has served as one of the independent promotions affiliated with the WWE ID initiative, and the WWE ID Women’s Championship has changed hands at ROW events as part of that partnership. No further details on Monroe’s title defenses or upcoming schedule have been announced.
