Shotzi Blackheart has signed with TNA Wrestling, according to a Fightful Select report cited by multiple outlets including WrestleView, Bodyslam, Diva Dirt and TPWW. The news follows her surprise appearance at TNA’s post-Bound for Glory television tapings on Tuesday at the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama.
Blackheart’s appearance marked a return to TNA, a promotion she previously competed for when it operated under the Impact Wrestling banner. Her arrival comes shortly after her contract with Major League Wrestling expired on October 5, closing out a run that began in June 2025 when she joined MLW not long after her six-year tenure with WWE ended. WWE allowed her contract to lapse before she landed with MLW.
During her time in MLW, Blackheart held the promotion’s Women’s World Championship for more than 200 days before losing the title to a debuting Masha Slamovich in a match taped on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina. That bout stood as Blackheart’s final match for MLW, with Slamovich capturing the championship in her debut appearance for the company.
No further details on the length or terms of Blackheart’s TNA contract have been reported. Her signing adds a notable name to TNA’s Knockouts division, a development that was also highlighted by POST Wrestling as part of its broader coverage of recent wrestling news.
Separately, WrestleView noted that Blackheart withdrew from a scheduled CMLL event due to a death in her family, though no additional details regarding that situation have been disclosed. It remains unclear how that circumstance may affect her upcoming schedule with TNA.
With her MLW tenure concluded and a new deal with TNA reportedly in place, Blackheart is positioned to become a fresh addition to the promotion’s Knockouts ranks, re-establishing ties with a company tied to her earlier career under the Impact Wrestling name. Further details on her in-ring debut or on-screen role for TNA have not yet been confirmed.
