ESPN Responds To Report That They Won’t Be Renewing WWE Agreement

Earlier today, a report emerged from SEScoops.com that indicated that ESPN was looking to exit out of their relationship with WWE by not renewing their contract when it expires in 2030. The two companies are only one year into a $1.6 billion, five-year deal where WWE premium live events stream on ESPN's Unlimited app but the report cited several problems "including the current media market, culture and synergy issues between the two companies and the failure of cable providers to pick up the cost of the app for customers."
