Last week on WWE Smackdown, Shinsuke Nakamura appeared in a backstage video clip where he promised the MFTs that he would be bringing in a partner of his own. While not officially confirmed, it was pretty obvious from the video that that person would be former NJPW star Hiromu Takahashi, who left Japan earlier this year to join WWE. On the Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that WWE's plans will indeed have Takahashi joining the Smackdown brand and for him and Nakamura to form a new tag team.
