More On Ilja Dragunov’s Exit From WWE; More Wrestlers’ Contracts Reportedly Coming Up Due Soon

Earlier today, news broke that WWE and former United States Champion Ilja Dragunov had parted ways after the wrestler decided not to renew his contract. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com reported that WWE and Dragunov, who has not wrestled since WrestleMania in April, had been in heavy negotiations for a return to the company as recently as June but obviously talks broke down before the former champion decided he would test free agency instead.
