Former WWE star Sanga, real name Saurav Gurjar, has been arrested in India after a woman accused him of sexual exploitation. According to the Hindustan Times, as cited by multiple wrestling outlets, the 29-year-old woman alleged that Gurjar misled her with promises of marriage during a years-long relationship that never materialized.
Gurjar was detained at Mumbai Airport after police issued a Look Out Circular against him, according to Fightful. He was then brought to Hyderabad by the Gachibowli Police, and multiple reports indicate he was placed in judicial custody for 14 days on Sunday.
The case stems from a complaint that was reportedly registered in August, per F4W Online. The full details of the complaint beyond the sexual exploitation allegation have not been made public.
