Mara Sadé has signed a full-time deal with AEW, according to reports from Ringside News, POST Wrestling and WrestleZone. The move follows her exit from TNA Wrestling and comes after she was reportedly weighing interest from other promotions.
Ringside News reported that Sadé’s own website suddenly listed AEW as the latest stop in her career, prompting confirmation that the former Jakara Jackson had agreed to a full-time deal with the company. According to that report, the contract was already in place before the update went public.
WrestleZone reported that Sadé became a free agent after her TNA contract expired, and that Fightful Select had previously indicated she was speaking with multiple promotions while also negotiating with TNA. WrestleZone’s report described her as having signed with AEW after WWE talks and a TNA offer.
POST Wrestling separately reported that the former NXT and TNA name has signed a full-time, salaried deal with AEW.
Sadé is best known to wrestling audiences for her run in WWE NXT as Jakara Jackson before moving on to TNA Wrestling. Her arrival adds another name with prior WWE and TNA experience to AEW’s roster, though no further details about her in-ring debut or creative plans with the company have been reported.
