TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and challenger Leon Slater have been officially barred from touching one another before their title match at Bound For Glory, after Santino Marella laid down the stipulation on the September 24, 2026 episode of TNA iMPACT, according to Ringside News.
Marella’s warning means any physical confrontation between Nemeth and Slater ahead of the October 11 pay-per-view carries the risk of Nemeth being stripped of the TNA World Championship, per the report. The stipulation raises the stakes on every appearance the two men make between now and Bound For Glory, since a single lapse could alter the championship picture before the match even takes place.
Nemeth is set to head to Tampa, Florida for a two-day media tour on September 30 and October 1 to promote Bound For Glory, according to Wrestling Headlines, which reported that TNA announced the appearances in a September 22 press release. The outlet said Nemeth will conduct interviews and other appearances previewing the October 11 pay-per-view.
Ryan Nemeth Qualifies for X Division Title Match
Elsewhere on the same edition of iMPACT, Ryan Nemeth punched his ticket to Bound For Glory by winning a qualifying match for the vacant TNA X Division Championship, according to Fightful and Wrestling Inc. Fightful reported that Ryan Nemeth’s win over K.J. Orso secured his spot in a six-way match to crown a new X Division Champion at the October 11 pay-per-view. Wrestling Inc. noted that Ryan Nemeth, TNA World Tag Team Champion, is now heading to Bound For Glory with a shot at a second title in addition to his tag team gold.
