Charlotte Flair made an appearance at Bank of America Stadium to take part in one of the Carolina Panthers’ most popular pregame traditions. Ahead of the Panthers’ Sunday Night Football game against the Detroit Lions, “The Queen” rolled up her sleeves and banged the Keep Pounding drum, according to Fightful.
The Keep Pounding drum ceremony is a staple of Panthers home games, with a notable figure invited to strike the drum before kickoff to rally the crowd. Flair took part in the tradition alongside Sir Purr, the team’s mascot, per Fightful’s report.
Flair is a longtime Carolina native, and her appearance adds to a growing list of celebrities and athletes who have taken part in the Panthers’ pregame tradition over the years.
