Chris Jericho says he is not losing sleep over whether he is ever inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, acknowledging that politics and company rivalries could play a role in keeping him out. Speaking to TMZ’s Inside the Ropes, the AEW star made clear he is already comfortable with what he accomplished during his time in WWE, according to Ringside News.
According to F4W Online, Jericho said he understands if tribalism or politics ultimately keep him out of the Hall of Fame, framing it as something outside his control rather than a personal grievance. F4W Online noted that he is “not insulted” by the prospect of being left out.
The comments come after rumors circulated around the start of 2026 suggesting Jericho could return to WWE for a final run that would include a Hall of Fame induction, per F4W Online. Jericho ultimately opted to remain with AEW, and it remains unclear when, or if, a WWE Hall of Fame induction will ever happen.
Jericho has not wrestled a full-time schedule in WWE for years, having built a significant portion of his recent career in AEW since its launch. His remarks suggest he views his WWE body of work as settled in his own mind, independent of whether the company ever formally recognizes it with induction.
