TNA Wrestling has officially signed Shotzi Blackheart, the company confirmed on October 19, 2026, ending weeks of speculation about her next move following her exit from WWE. The signing was first reported by Busted Open on SiriusXM before TNA made it official through a press release.

Fightful Select had reported the news internally on October 14, with the promotion waiting several days before going public with the confirmation. TNA’s official statement credited Busted Open with breaking the story, noting simply that “TNA Wrestling has signed Shotzi Blackheart.”

A California native, Shotzi made her professional wrestling debut in 2014 and built her reputation over the following years before landing in WWE, where she became known for her tank-driving entrances and held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship during her run with the company. Her arrival in TNA marks a return to a promotion where she has history, giving the Knockouts division a well-known name with a built-in following.

Speaking on Busted Open about her decision, Shotzi explained that joining the Knockouts division was something she had wanted for years, even before her WWE run began. She said the timing now felt right for her to make the move, and she expressed a desire to bring what she described as some much-needed “ballsiness” to the division.

The announcement also followed Shotzi’s recent appearance in Dothan, Alabama, which had fueled speculation about where she would land next. That appearance, combined with the Busted Open report and subsequent TNA press release, effectively closed the book on questions about her future, confirming she has signed with TNA rather than making a one-off appearance.

With the signing now official, attention turns to how TNA will integrate Shotzi into the Knockouts division and which storylines or championship pictures she may factor into going forward. No further details on her in-ring schedule or opponents have been disclosed as part of the announcement.
