Dominik Mysterio brings the AAA Mega Championship to Las Vegas on a night when Rey’s shadow — and his GM authority — hangs over every match. The Latin American title is on the line, but the real story is whether the Mysterio family tension finally boils over before Night 2.
AAA Latin American Championship Match
The Latin American strap finds a new home tonight. Without confirmed participants in the build, this is AAA’s traditional work rate showcase — expect crisp striking, high-flying transitions, and the kind of near-falls that remind you why the division matters.
WAW Pick: Champion retains — tradition and timing favor the incumbent holding gold into Night 2’s bigger angles.
Rey Mysterio interferes in a non-title bout to protect his AAA legacy, setting up a definitive Dominik confrontation at Night 2. The pieces are too perfectly aligned for the GM to stay off camera all night, especially with his son walking around as Mega Champion.
