Dani Luna is officially All Elite. The two-time TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion made her AEW debut at All Out: Chicago on Saturday night, answering an open challenge issued by TBS Champion Persephone, and AEW President Tony Khan announced afterward that Luna had signed with the company.
Persephone was able to defeat Luna to retain the TBS Championship, meaning Luna’s first outing under the AEW banner ended in a loss. According to Fightful, Khan made the announcement confirming her signing in the aftermath of the match.
Luna, who is also a former RevPro British Women’s Champion, joins AEW’s women’s division following her run in TNA Wrestling, where she held tag team gold alongside a partner as part of the Knockouts division. Her arrival adds another name with international independent and TNA pedigree to a TBS Championship picture now centered on the reigning champion, Persephone.
No further details on the terms of Luna’s contract or her next scheduled appearance have been made public. AEW has not indicated whether Luna will receive an immediate rematch or move into a broader program within the women’s roster following her All Out debut.
