Jeff Jarrett says there is still one AEW storyline he would like to complete before he retires: his unresolved program with MJF.
Jarrett and MJF crossed paths in early 2025, kicking off a feud built on heated verbal exchanges. Despite the inflammatory build, the program never reached a culminating singles match between the two, according to Fightful and Wrestling Headlines.
Asked in a new interview with Kickout whether there is a storyline or angle he would still like to do in AEW before he steps away from the business, Jarrett pointed back to that MJF dynamic, noting that “MJF will always need to be slapped.”
Neither outlet reported a timetable, match stipulation or any confirmation from AEW that the Jarrett-MJF program will be revisited, and no further details on a potential blow-off match were included in the sources.
