Kurt Angle has withdrawn from a scheduled run of United Kingdom appearances after revealing he is not medically cleared to travel, the WWE and TNA Hall of Famer told fans.
Angle, 57, had been booked to appear for National Wrestling League in Manchester on September 27, followed by Inside the Ropes events in London and Glasgow on September 28 and 29. Both National Wrestling League and Inside the Ropes shared videos confirming his withdrawal from the shows, according to F4W Online.
The specific nature of Angle’s health issue has not been disclosed. Wrestling News reported that the Inside the Ropes dates in London and Glasgow have been rescheduled for February 1 and February 2, with tickets purchased for the original shows set to be honored for the new dates.
It remains unclear whether the National Wrestling League appearance in Manchester will also be rebooked for a future date.
