Lexis King says the door remains open for Avery Styles to join his NXT faction BirthRight, despite Styles having signed with TNA Wrestling rather than WWE.
King made the comments while speaking with Bully Ray on Busted Open following the September 22 episode of WWE NXT on The CW, where King teamed with BirthRight stablemates Uriah Connors and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo to defeat the trio of Sean Legacy, E.K. Prosper and Zilla Fatu in the show’s main event.
Avery Styles is the son of WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles. According to WrestleZone, the 19-year-old made his in-ring debut in June 2026 and has since signed with TNA Wrestling, though he has yet to have his first televised match for the promotion.
Speaking about a potential future with BirthRight, King praised the young wrestler, according to Wrestling Headlines, calling him “phenomenal” and noting, per Fightful, “that kid shaked every hand in NXT.”
There is no indication from any of the reports that Avery Styles has had direct contact with WWE about joining BirthRight, and his signing with TNA Wrestling means any such move would require a change in his current promotional affiliation. The comments from King appear to be his own assessment of Styles’ potential rather than a confirmed offer or negotiation.
