As previously reported, Octagon Jr. suffered an injury during a Fatal 5-Way match for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contender's spot at the Noche de Los Grandes Week Two tapings on May 30. The match aired on Saturday, during which Octagon Jr. took a DDT from Joaquin Wilde off the top rope and landed awkwardly. The referee signaled for help by displaying the X sign, and Octagon Jr. was stretchered out of the arena.
