Reason Why WWE Ran First Hour Of Last Week’s Smackdown Commercial Free

Last week, WWE and the USA Network aired the first hour of Friday Night Smackdown commercial-free in a move that sort of came out of the blue without an explanation or obvious reason. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that there is a good reason why that happened. According to their report, WWE had made the decision to air Smackdown commercial-free for that first hour well in advance and as a reactionary move to potentially having to go against the NBA Finals.
