CARDANALYSIS & PREDICTIONS
WWE dusts off the Sunday Night’s Main Event nameplate for the first time since 1991, and they’re not messing around—Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are renewing their rivalry on a card emanating from State Farm Arena in Atlanta. With only four matches announced and the build heavily centered on this clash, tonight feels like a statement show designed to prove the brand still has main event firepower beyond the usual PPV cycle.
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
This is the real main event story. The Viper has been a thorn in Cody’s side, and their history suggests neither man leaves without leaving it all in the ring. Orton’s experience and ruthlessness against Cody’s methodical climb back to the top creates genuine intrigue about whether legacy or trajectory wins the night.
WAW Pick: Cody Rhodes — He’s the narrative centerpiece of this show; Peacock doesn’t debut a new Main Event special with the guy losing the featured bout.
