Zaria remains the NXT Women’s North American Champion after turning back a determined challenge from Thea Hail on the September 29, 2026 episode of WWE NXT.
According to Wrestling Inc, Hail’s quest to reclaim the title ended in heartbreak when Zaria got the better of her in the title match. WrestleZone reported that the championship bout was set up after Hail pinned Zaria in a tag team match the previous week, giving Hail the opportunity to challenge for the title she had previously held.
WrestleZone noted that Hail had already shown she could put the champion in trouble, but reclaiming the North American title proved to be a tall task on this occasion. 411Mania confirmed the outcome, reporting that Zaria retained the title against Hail on the broadcast.
With the win, Zaria continues her reign as NXT Women’s North American Champion heading into the next chapter of the title picture on NXT.
