Andrade El Idolo will defend the AEW National Championship against PAC at AEW All Out on September 26 at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The match was set up following the September 19 episode of AEW Collision, which took place at the Charleston Coliseum in West Virginia.
On that show, Andrade retained the AEW National Championship against Daniel Garcia in what 411Mania described as a “rather controversial fashion.” After the match, Andrade was attacked by The Death Riders, and PAC subsequently confronted the champion with a question about the following Saturday, according to Fightful. That confrontation led directly to the title match being made official for All Out, as reported by POST Wrestling.
The same edition of Collision also produced a new multi-man brawl for AEW’s Tailgate Brawl programming. The Bang Bang Gang, consisting of Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin and Jay White, challenged The Death Riders and The Dogs to a 10-man Tailgate Brawl match, per Fightful. TPWW reported the resulting match as an 8-man Tailgate Brawl involving the Bang Bang Gang, The Dogs and Death Riders, so the exact team size has not been consistently confirmed across outlets.
TPWW also noted that a singles match between Jungle Jack Perry and Katsuyori Shibata was set for the same Collision taping, though further details of that bout were not included in the available reporting.
With PAC now added to the card, the AEW National Championship becomes one of the featured storylines heading into All Out, alongside the fallout from Andrade’s contentious win over Daniel Garcia and the brewing conflict between the Bang Bang Gang, The Death Riders and The Dogs.
