Tatum Paxley says she has no interest in rushing her path to WWE’s main roster, pushing back against the idea that every NXT talent should be eager to graduate as quickly as possible.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Paxley acknowledged that many performers in NXT view the brand as a stepping stone they want to move past quickly, but said that mindset does not apply to her own career plans.
“There’s a lot of times where people are like, ‘Oh, I’m ready to get out of [NXT],'” Paxley said, according to F4W Online, explaining that she has instead chosen to take her development at her own pace.
WWE’s developmental system has long served as the proving ground where talents sharpen their in-ring work before a main roster move, and Paxley’s comments suggest she sees continued time in NXT as beneficial rather than something to escape. No timetable for a main roster call-up has been indicated, and Paxley’s remarks center on her approach to development rather than any specific plan or decision from WWE.
