Drew McIntyre is getting back in the ring, at least for training purposes. The former Undisputed WWE Champion posted a short video to social media on Friday, September 25, 2026, showing himself running the ropes, captioned simply “Reps.”
The footage was filmed at Rusev’s Kech Pro Wrestling Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, according to Fightful and Wrestling Headlines. It marks McIntyre’s first known in-ring activity since he last competed for WWE.
McIntyre has not wrestled since April 18, 2026, when he lost to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match on Night 1 of WrestleMania 42. That defeat has kept him off WWE television since April 18, 2026, and the new training video is the clearest sign yet that he is working toward a return.
WrestleTalk noted that speculation has emerged about where McIntyre could resurface, including the possibility of a spot on the Money in the Bank card, though no such appearance has been confirmed by WWE or by McIntyre himself. The current sources establish only that he is training in the ring again; no match, date, or storyline has been announced.
