LA Knight went face-to-face with Roman Reigns on the October 5, 2026, episode of WWE Raw, delivering a pointed verbal attack on the World Heavyweight Champion just days before their title showdown at Money in the Bank. According to Wrestling Inc, Knight called Reigns a “manufactured corporate puppet industry plant” during the segment, setting the tone for the championship match the two are set to have this Saturday in New Orleans.
The confrontation took place during the Raw broadcast from Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, which WrestleTix reported drew an attendance of 8,252, according to PW Torch’s Wade Keller. The show was streamed on Netflix and called by commentators Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves. WrestleZone also detailed the segment, noting that Knight “didn’t hold back” and used the “corporate puppet” label as part of his broader attack on the champion with only five days remaining before their Money in the Bank clash.
The same Raw card featured other notable action, including Penta and Rey Fenix appearing in separate matches, with Penta teaming alongside Evans against Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, and Fenix facing Ethan in singles competition, per PW Torch’s results report.
WrestleTalk framed the broader picture heading into the pay-per-view by noting that Reigns “has a lot on his mind,” with both Knight’s title challenge and the stable known as The 946 reportedly targeting The Bloodline in the lead-up to Money in the Bank. The championship match between Knight and Reigns is set to headline as one of the key attractions when WWE Money in the Bank takes place in New Orleans.
