Penta Emerges as Reported “Heavy Favorite” to Win WWE Money in the Bank 2026

Penta is reportedly viewed as a “heavy favorite” within WWE creative to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the October 10, 2026 Premium Live Event, according to WrestleVotes on WrestleVotes Radio, as reported by Fightful and Ringside News.

Penta qualified for the match by winning a Money in the Bank qualifying triple threat match on the September 21, 2026 edition of WWE RAW, per NoDQ. The men’s Money in the Bank field is nearly complete and already includes Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams and Penta, with two more competitors still to be determined, according to Fightful.

The renewed interest in Penta as a top contender follows his challenge of Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship on the September 14, 2026 episode of WWE RAW, which took place in Mexico City. PWMania reported that the match “produced significant worldwide numbers,” which multiple outlets have tied to WWE’s apparent shift in how it is positioning Penta going forward.

Should the reports hold, a Money in the Bank win would hand Penta a guaranteed championship opportunity to cash in at a time of his choosing, continuing the rapid rise he has experienced since his showing against Reigns. WWE has not officially confirmed the full men’s Money in the Bank field or Penta’s standing in the match, and the “favorite” status stems from reporting on internal creative sentiment rather than any on-air confirmation.
