As previously reported, AEW commentator and part-time in-ring competitor Nigel McGuinness was revealed by longtime commentator Tony Schiavone during the main event of Saturday’s episode of Collision to have suffered an injury early in the night during his Continental Challenge Cup Tournament match against Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps. Although McGuinness won the match, he may be unable to continue in the tournament due to this injury.
