Eddie Andelman, a Boston sports radio icon and the man credited with creating the concept of WWE's King of the Ring, has passed away at the age of 89 years. His death was announced by his sons, Dave, Mike and Dan. Andelman partnered with Vince McMahon to create the first ever King of the Ring in 1985 though he was never directly employed by the company.
