TNA Wrestling has announced the inductors for its 2026 Hall of Fame class, adding further detail to the ceremony that will take place during Bound For Glory weekend. The promotion confirmed that Konnan will be inducted by NXT’s Cruz Montana, giving the event a direct connection between TNA’s history and the current WWE developmental brand.
The 2026 Hall of Fame class was revealed earlier this year and consists of three names closely tied to the promotion’s history: Konnan, Amazing Red and ODB. The induction ceremony is set to air before TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, continuing the tradition of honoring the Hall of Fame class on the same weekend as the promotion’s flagship annual event.
According to Ringside News, the ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October, as part of the broader Bound For Glory weekend programming. Fightful confirmed the full list of inductors in its announcement, with Cruz Montana specifically named as the person who will induct Konnan into the Hall of Fame.
Cruz Montana’s Role In Konnan’s Induction
The selection of Cruz Montana as Konnan’s inductor is notable given his current standing on NXT, WWE’s developmental brand. His involvement places a current WWE-affiliated talent at the center of a TNA Hall of Fame moment, reflecting the kind of crossover connections TNA has leaned into for its Hall of Fame ceremonies in recent years.
Konnan’s TNA legacy includes a long history tied to the promotion’s early years and its Latin American wrestling connections, making his induction one of the more historically significant selections in this year’s class. Amazing Red and ODB round out the 2026 class, with both wrestlers having established lengthy track records within TNA across different eras of the company.
Full details on who will induct Amazing Red and ODB were included in TNA’s official announcement, though the specific focus of both Fightful’s and Ringside News’ reporting centered on the Konnan-Cruz Montana pairing as the headline detail of the inductor reveal.
The Hall of Fame ceremony airing ahead of Bound For Glory continues a format TNA has used to honor its history immediately before its biggest show of the year, ensuring the inductees receive a spotlight moment tied directly to one of the promotion’s most-watched events.
