WWE filled two more Money in the Bank ladder match spots on the September 25, 2026 episode of SmackDown, with CM Punk and Lash Legend both punching their tickets to the October 10 event.
CM Punk qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Finn Balor and GUNTHER in a triple threat qualifier. According to Fightful, Punk and GUNTHER had a back-and-forth exchange late in the match before Punk ultimately picked up the win.
In the women’s division, Lash Legend survived a triple threat against Charlotte Flair and Giulia to secure her place in the ladder match. Ringside News reported that all three competitors threw everything they had at one another before Lash Legend found the opening she needed for the win.
Following her victory, Lash Legend had a segment with Blake Monroe that ended with Giulia slapping Monroe, prompting SmackDown’s General Manager to separate the two. That confrontation has now led directly to a new match announcement.
Giulia vs. Blake Monroe Set for October 2
Giulia will face Blake Monroe on the October 2, 2026 episode of SmackDown, marking what Fightful described as Monroe’s in-ring debut. The show, which F4W Online reports will emanate from Denver, Colorado, will also feature the final men’s and women’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches, determining the last two entrants for the ladder matches on October 10.
With Punk and Lash Legend now confirmed, only two qualifying spots remain open heading into the October 2 broadcast.
