Paige has called out Nikki Bella for a rematch, with the two set to meet again on the October 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. The challenge came during a backstage segment on the October 2 episode of SmackDown that also involved WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.
According to Fightful, Green, Paige and Nikki Bella were all featured in the segment, which followed up on the September 25 six-woman tag match. In that bout, Paige teamed with Green and Tiffany Stratton to take on The Fatal Influence.
WrestleZone reported that the confrontation began when Green brought up the upcoming Money in the Bank event, and the exchange escalated into Paige putting Nikki Bella on notice for a singles rematch. 411Mania and eWrestlingNews both confirmed the rivalry stems from that six-woman tag encounter, with Paige now looking to settle the score with Nikki Bella one-on-one.
The match is officially set for the October 16 edition of WWE SmackDown, giving fans two weeks to see how the build between the two rivals continues to develop.
