WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced a Street Fight between Giulia and Blake Monroe for the October 23, 2026 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, setting up a rematch with a stipulation attached after weeks of tension between the two.
The announcement came during a segment involving Monroe and Aldis on the October 16, 2026 edition of SmackDown. According to Fightful, Aldis revealed the Street Fight stipulation directly to Monroe during that on-air exchange. The match represents the latest chapter in a rivalry that began three weeks earlier when Monroe made her SmackDown debut by defeating Giulia, as noted by F4W Online. Giulia will now look to settle the score, with the Street Fight stipulation removing many of the restrictions of a standard singles match and raising the stakes for both competitors heading into the show.
Later in the same SmackDown broadcast, a second major match was confirmed for the October 23 show. Tatum Paxley and Alexa Bliss will challenge B-Fab and Michin for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, giving the episode a title match in addition to the Street Fight. Ringside News reported that WWE moved quickly to build out the card, announcing a total of three matches for the following week’s show during the October 16 broadcast.
The pairing of Paxley and Bliss against the champions adds a title implication to what is already shaping up as a stacked SmackDown lineup, while the personal nature of the Giulia-Monroe feud gives the Street Fight an added layer of intensity following Monroe’s debut victory. With Aldis continuing to shape the women’s division storylines on SmackDown, both matches point toward further developments in the build toward the promotion’s upcoming shows, though no additional stipulations or follow-up matches beyond these two have been confirmed.
WWE has not announced further details beyond the matches themselves, and no outcomes or additional segments tied to the October 23 card have been revealed ahead of the broadcast.
