Persephone has added a new stipulation to her AEW TBS Championship defense at All Out, announcing an open challenge on the September 23, 2026 episode of AEW Collision while simultaneously ruling out three of her most obvious challengers.
According to Fightful, Persephone revealed during the broadcast that she will defend the TBS Championship at the All Out pay-per-view, but she made clear that despite the “open” framing of the challenge, Maya World, Thunder Rosa and Hyan will not be permitted to answer it.
Ringside News reported that the announcement came during AEW Dynamite and Collision programming for September 23, 2026, and noted the timing appeared pointed given that Persephone had just defeated Hyan prior to issuing the challenge.
Wrestling Inc confirmed the addition, reporting that the open challenge is now official for the AEW All Out 2026 card, marking the final match added to the event.
No opponent has been named for Persephone’s title defense at this time, and none of the three wrestlers she has excluded have publicly responded to being barred from the challenge.
