In April 2023, "Switchblade" Jay White made his debut in AEW and teamed up with Juice Robinson. They declared themselves the first two members of Bullet Club Gold, and in the weeks that followed, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn also joined the group. They later nicknamed their faction the “Bang Bang Gang.” However, in mid-2024, the group quietly and permanently changed its name to Bang Bang Gang.
