Ring of Honor held a ten-bell salute for PAC before its latest set of television tapings on Monday, September 28, at WTJC Studios in Jacksonville, Florida. AEW President Tony Khan addressed the crowd ahead of the tapings to speak about PAC, who died on Sunday at the age of 40.
According to Fightful, Khan told those in attendance, “Ben was an absolutely fantastic wrestler, a fantastic human being. A great” performer, before the ten-bell salute was carried out in his honor.
Wrestling News and PWMania both reported that Khan explained he wanted to address something more important than professional wrestling before speaking about PAC’s death. Both outlets also reported that Khan confirmed the October 1, 2026, AEW Dynamite, taking place in Pittsburgh, will be a tribute show dedicated to PAC.
PAC had been a fixture across the AEW and Ring of Honor rosters for years, and the tributes from Khan and the wrestling community reflect the sudden nature of his death, which was described by multiple outlets as having occurred on Sunday, September 27.
