The Brawling Birds’ scheduled appearance for Pro-Wrestling: EVE has been rescheduled following their participation in AEW’s Blood & Guts match. AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor were set to defend against Hyperactive (Safire Reed and Anita Vaughan) at the EVE event in Wolverhampton on November 8, but that bout will no longer take place as planned.

The news was relayed by Pro-Wrestling: EVE promoter Dann Read, who joined Jeremy Lambert and Sid Pullar III on Fightful’s In The Weeds podcast while they were speaking with Hyperactive members Anita Vaughn and Safire Reed. Read confirmed that the Brawling Birds’ appearance has been pushed back in the wake of Blood & Guts, with the match now expected to be rescheduled for a future date.

Blood & Guts is one of AEW’s most physically demanding match concepts, combining elements of a steel cage and an Unsanctioned-style brawl across two rings, and it is not unusual for competitors who take part to require additional recovery time before their next scheduled appearance. The Brawling Birds’ withdrawal from the EVE card falls in line with that pattern, with multiple outlets reporting that the champions are taking extra time following their involvement in the match.

Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor currently hold the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship, and their move to step away from the Wolverhampton date underscores how taxing Blood & Guts can be on the talent who compete in it. Hyperactive, the independent duo of Safire Reed and Anita Vaughan, had been advertised to challenge the champions on the United Kingdom independent scene before the postponement was announced.

No new date for the rescheduled Hyperactive versus Brawling Birds match has been confirmed. Pro-Wrestling: EVE promoter Dann Read’s comments indicate the promotion intends to bring the match back at a later time, though further details on timing have not yet been made public.
