Khan was also asked about the status of former TNA Wrestling talent Mara Sadè, who had briefly listed AEW as one of the promotions she had been featured in on her personal website before removing the reference. According to Fightful, Khan called Sadè “somebody that is of great interest” but stopped short of confirming any signing. Ringside News similarly reported that Khan declined to make anything official regarding Sadè despite weeks of reports and speculation surrounding her AEW future.

Khan also detailed discussions AEW had with Andy “The Butcher” Williams shortly before Williams’s passing on September 5, 2026, at age 48.
