TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and challenger Leon Slater have been officially ordered to stay away from each other physically before their title showdown at Bound For Glory. During the September 24, 2026 episode of TNA iMpact, Santino Marella announced that Nemeth and Slater are banned from any contact with one another ahead of the match, according to Ringside News.
The stipulation raises the stakes on the build to the pay-per-view, with Ringside News noting that any violation of Marella’s warning could jeopardize Nemeth’s hold on the TNA World Championship before he even steps into the ring with Slater at Bound For Glory.
Ryan Nemeth Qualifies for X Division Title Match
Elsewhere on the same episode of iMpact, TNA World Tag Team Champion Ryan Nemeth secured a spot in the six-way match to crown a new X Division Champion at Bound For Glory. Ryan Nemeth won his qualifying bout on September 24, 2026, defeating K.J. Orso to earn the final spot in the match, per Fightful and Wrestling Inc. The X Division Championship is currently vacant, and TNA will determine the new titleholder in the multi-man match at the October 11, 2026 pay-per-view.
Nic Nemeth’s Media Push Before Bound For Glory
TNA is also ramping up promotion for Bound For Glory with Nic Nemeth set for a two-day media tour in Tampa, Florida, on September 30 and October 1, 2026, according to Wrestling Headlines. The company announced the appearances in a September 22 press release, stating that Nemeth will conduct interviews and other media appearances to help preview the pay-per-view.
Bound For Glory takes place October 11, 2026, and will feature Nic Nemeth defending the TNA World Championship against Leon Slater under the new no-contact stipulation, as well as Ryan Nemeth competing in the six-way match for the vacant X Division Championship.
