OPENING SEGMENT: Kendal Grey opened the show with an emotional address following her NXT Women’s Championship victory at The Great American Bash. Grey admitted public speaking still makes her nervous, reflecting on her struggles with self-doubt since arriving in NXT despite dominating amateur wrestling and WWE EVOLVE. Wren Sinclair interrupted with a celebration cake congratulating both women on leaving The Great American Bash as champions. Kelani Jordan interrupted to complain about being overlooked for the championship.
NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) (c) defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno via pinfall. AAA stars brought the fight early with tandem offense and close calls. Galeno’s strength repeatedly overwhelmed Smokes and Baylor, while Wagner dazzled with his trademark aerial attacks. Despite the challengers controlling the latter stages, outside interference from Jackson Drake shifted momentum. Vanity Project capitalized with their Flying Double Foot Stomp/Side Russian Leg Sweep combination to escape with another successful title defense.
SINGLES MATCH: Jackson Drake defeated Mason Rook via pinfall. Mason Rook looked dominant throughout much of the contest, repeatedly overwhelming Drake with his power offense. Midway through, Booker T received a FaceTime call from Kam Hendrix announcing his imminent return with unfinished business with Rook. Despite Rook’s control, The Vanity Project proved the difference. After Myka Lockwood distracted the referee, Drake connected with an assisted Backstabber to steal the victory.
SINGLES MATCH: EK Prosper defeated Keanu Carver via pinfall. Carver dominated large portions of the contest but Hank Ledger distracted Carver late in the match, allowing Prosper to capitalize with a Shining Wizard and top-rope moonsault to secure the win.
SINGLES MATCH: Jaida Parker defeated Karmen Petrovic via pinfall. Karmen attempted to use outside distractions from Natalya, Nikkita Lyons, and Layla Diggs to gain an advantage, but Parker refused to be rattled. Despite repeated interference, Parker battled through the numbers game before planting Petrovic with Deja Vu to secure the victory. Robert Stone granted Natalya an NXT Women’s Championship match against Kendal Grey for next week.
SEGMENT: Tony D’Angelo reflected on nearly losing his eyesight after his brutal title defense, revealing he had signed medical waivers simply to compete at The Great American Bash. As D’Angelo made his way backstage, Kendal Grey greeted him with a fist bump—only for Naraku to ambush D’Angelo from behind with a steel chair before planting him with Everything Is EVIL.
MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH: Kelani Jordan defeated Tatum Paxley via pinfall. With Kendal Grey joining commentary, Jordan focused her attack on Paxley’s injured leg while repeatedly mocking her opponent. The two stalwarts had each other perfectly scouted as Jordan’s athleticism and high-flying game was consistently neutralized by Paxley’s unorthodox mat-based offense. After the match, the former Nikki Blackheart attacked and laid out Paxley with a Torture Rack.
