United States Champion Trick Williams returned to SmackDown after getting married. Ricky Saints took down Williams and Lil Yachty with a pair of cheap shots.
LA Knight arrived at the arena and called out Solo Sikoa. Knight talked about the battle he and Jey Uso had last week and said he respects Uso but Solo Sikoa getting involved confused him.
The War Raiders interrupted a backstage promo involving WWE tag team champions R-Truth and Damian Priest, expressing interest in a battle between the titleholders. Hilarity ensued as Truth insisted that he and his partner were The Judgment Day.
Final segment featured Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Gunther, Jey Uso and Oba Femi. While addressing each other, the three men competing in the undisputed WWE title match were interrupted by the King of the Ring finalists. Uso fired warning shots at the champion and title challengers. A massive brawl broke out, after which Rhodes and Femi faced off.
